Yahoo! News: Las Vegas Sands president Sheldon Adelson announced on Tuesday that the firm has attracted sufficient funding to begin construction of mega-casino complex Eurovegas in December 2013.
Speaking at a press conference with Madrid president Ignacio Gonzalez, Adelson revealed that negotiations with banks are taking place but that details will not be released until the location for the complex is decided. The project will be a sister-site to the complex in Macao, China, he said…. Currently, the favourite location to build Eurovegas is in the city of Alcorcon in the region of Madrid although Paracuellos and Valdecarros have been named as possible locations.

Hi J.C., once again President Adelson’s tenacity has created a unique opportunity to expand Las Vegas Sand’s globally. He always keeps his eye on the prize! Now that his decision on Madrid is complete I would hope that Boston Ma. would be worth taking a second look! Mystic Sands Resort has a nice ring to it!!

Hey, there are many Americans in Madrid that support your idea!We hope that we can support you or your people that come here for the project. Over 500 people gather at the English-speaking Catholic Church (Our Lady of Mercy). Count on us! (some need work too.) Kind of wish you would have asked locals for advice of where you will locate it. (Paracuelos is closest to airport and remember, that is an asset to Vegas!) All the best! Madrid has same problems with taxis as Vegas does (long hauling).
