In Vegas? Visit Our New Addition: The Bourbon Room

The Bourbon Room offers the finest collection of bourbon and spirits in Las Vegas and entertainment by music video flashbacks to nostalgic rock music from the totally rad ‘80s. Located on The Venetian casino floor between Noodle Asia and Valentino, The Bourbon Room gives a backstage pass to the hottest scene in Vegas with resident VJs cranking out feel-good tunes and accompanying music videos.

To add to the experience, a talented crew of cocktail servers take to the stage several times a night in sexy and fun performances while guests sing along to their favorite songs.

The Bourbon Room will be open Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m.-2 a.m., and Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 a.m.. VJs get the party started nightly in the Bourbon Room at 8 p.m. spinning classic rock hits.

Yahoo!: Marina Bay Sands Spectacular New Hotel Pool

Marina Bay Sands made it onto Yahoo’s list of 10 Spectacular New Hotel Pools: “The outdoor infinity swimming pool at this mega resort (which opened in 2010) is considered the world’s largest. Located a staggering 656 feet above Singapore and 492 feet long (roughly three times Olympic-pool length), it’s a thrill-seeker’s delight. The pool not only spans three of the hotel’s 55-story towers, but the Plexiglass sides give the stomach-churning illusion of no end point in sight. In addition to the adrenaline rush, the pool’s location is visual mayhem, with awesome views of the city skyline.” Hat tip: Sandra

Don’t Miss Da Vinci — The Genius

For a limited engagement at The Venetian, enjoy an interactive experience of the timeless brilliance of Leonardo da Vinci’s fascinating works. Guests will enjoy more than 200 unique pieces, including life-size machine inventions, renderings of da Vinci’s notable works and an in-depth analysis of his most famous piece, “Mona Lisa.” Visitors will be able to push, pull, crank and interact with many of these exhibits for a hands-on understanding of the scientific principles behind them. This inspirational exhibition will be featured near the Venetian Front Desk. Da Vinci – The Genius will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Venetian Macao Fun Facts

The Venetian Macao has been named “The Best Luxury Resort in the World” by Travel + Leisure India and South Asia.

World Hunger Week At Marina Bay Sands

Marina Bay Sands organized a World Hunger Week Campaign in line with World Hunger Day to help raise awareness of the global food shortage. Currently, there are 1 billion people all over the globe who live in extreme hunger and poverty.

Held from 28 May – 2 June, the week-long Team Member engagement campaign included activities such as a Zero Food Waste challenge, a Charity Bake Sale and a Canned Food Collection Drive. Marina Bay Sands 24/7 On The Biography Channel

Sands President Signs New Multi-Year Contract

Las Vegas Sands announced today that Michael A. Leven, our company’s president and chief operating officer, has signed a new contract that will keep the long-time hospitality veteran at the helm of the organization until the end of 2014.

Coming on the heels of the recent contract extension of Global Gaming President Rob Goldstein and the hiring of Executive Vice President of Operations Chris Cahill, the extension of Mr. Leven’s contract further solidifies a management team which has consistently produced industry-leading results. Going Green At Marina Bay Sands

This year, Marina Bay Sands honored Earth Day by taking part in numerous activities to build awareness, educate and invigorate our Team Members, as well as members of the public. With our participation in Earth Day (22 April) and all the activities leading up to the event such as iLight Marina Bay 2012 (9 March to 1 April) and Earth Hour (31 March), we achieved a total of 31,638 kWh in energy savings with our participation.
