Say hello to one of our founding team members in Las Vegas: Tonya Satterwhite. She is a sales agent on the butler services team.
A Las Vegas native who has been working for The Venetian since April 19, 1999, she came to us after completing a program hosted by our founder Sheldon Adelson. While at The College of Southern Nevada, she was excited to be one of only 50 people selected to be part of Mr. Adelson’s program. Out of those 50, only she and one other person were chosen to become team members at our awesome property! She still, to this day, believes strongly that one of our original tenets—“A Place Like No Other, People Like No Other”—is true. More than ever it’s true, she says. After working for 8 ½ years on our telecommunications team, she transitioned to butler services and loves working with her team.
Her favorite things about working and The Venetian and The Palazzo are our benefits program and the team environment that she experiences here.
Tonya’s favorite things to do when she’s not at work are cooking (she says she loves to cook everything), dancing (her favorite is doing Zumba) and being the best mom she can be to her four wonderful kids. She also loves sports, with her favorite teams being the Los Angeles Lakers and the Philadelphia Eagles.
We feel fortunate to have such loyal and hardworking team members like Tonya. I can’t wait to have more posts about some of the other amazing team members here at The Venetian and The Palazzo!
